Together we can CHANGE the WORLD of a GIRL
GOAL Girls Group
GOAL Girls (Girls on Another Level) is a program presented by (AMERICAS BIG SISTERS NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION) dedicated to help (Black and brown Motherless teen girls, 8th-12th grade in under-served communities of the Chicagoland area living with a family member). The program was inspired by the Bible Story of Ruth and Naomi.
The mission of the GOAL Girls program is to support motherless teen girls with high school completion through a continuum of services that include mentorship, counseling, support groups, education, and other resources, to help them develop into self-confident, self-sufficient, and goal-oriented leaders.
The lack of a mother figure has been proven to effect children in the following ways.
The child may experience feelings of loneliness or worthlessness, given that they don’t receive the care and affection they need. This, in turn, can lead to anger or frustration
3 STRAND CORD TECHNIQUE
A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back to back and conquer . Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken. Ecclesiastes 4:12
