ALL GIRLS MATTER EMPOWHERMENT SUMMIT/EXPO
Young Ladies Ages 12 – 18
Empowherment Summit started in 2017 in Chicago, Illinois with a partnership with Robert Morris College. This event provides an opportunity for sisters in underserved communities to get together to network, share testimonies as well as be empowered by speakers with panel discussions and breakout sessions.
In 2020 The Empowherment Summit is being transitioned into the America’s Big Sisters ALL Girls Matter Teen EXPO. It is open to girls in ALL walks of life. It’s purpose is to advocate and prevent the growing epidemic of low self-esteem, cutting, bullying, eating disorders, sex trafficking, domestic abuse, and suicide just to name a few. It creates an avenue for ALL girls to come together despite their environmental, personal, and socio-economic differences to share experiences and obtain strategies to overcome the world’s oppositions. It will enable young ladies to develop their character, values, talents, and personal leadership in order to achieve their full potential in the future.
